Be Still and Know
Beloved, be still and know that the Creator of the universe: He is God, and He longs for you to realize that it will be needful for your soul to learn many more things, other than what your mind already knows now about the Truth. Set your heart to be fixed; for it is His will alone that shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven. When your heart lowers into this depth of humility unto God, then shall you be a earnest follower of Jesus Christ, and your ways will be set for Him and not by your flesh. In this flesh, you shall be subject to feelings and longings that often overwhelm you if you are not planted firm in Him. If you are ensnared by such, and if there be any self-seeking within your spirit, realize this will hinder and weigh you down into depths unfathomable. Become established by His counsel, lest you regret the path you take away from the Narrow Way. Self-government is always contrary to His government, and if even our government rest on His shoulder, how much so shall be the danger of your stinginess! If there be people in your life that prevent you to be formed and fashioned by His counsel and principles, move yourself from them, and seek God as the deer longing for cool water. Within the dark corridors of self-government, often emotions such as violence spark in your heart, and an appetite of sensual pleasures not of God will transpire. Long to be chastised by the Father Who loves you, and force yourself to remain under servitude, to do the Will of Almighty God. To know more about this Truth, one must come to a halt of all his prideful ways, and surrender. Stop, breath in, and know Him.
"Oh God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory." Psalm 108:1
"Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven." Matthew 6:10
"For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ. But ye know the proof of Him, that, as a son with the father, He hath served with me in the gospel." Philippians 2:21
His Helping Hands
Dear beloved, know not, when you drowning in the sea of turmoil, that the Lord is a strong hold in the day of trouble? Your fingertips but touch the surface of the ocean, yet that alone is enough reach out: so your soul can come unto Him. When you feel like your are submerging deeper into this subaqueous depth of anxiety, often you seek consolation from the world, and therefore you turn further and further away from prayer. In your flesh you refresh yourself in things not of God. The Eternal Remedy is at those very fingertips, and yet you still seek help inside the oceanic depth of your problems. There is no need to take hold of the very substance your problems are made of, when there is a God within to lift you up. Your hands are of flesh, yet His hands are of power. No distance between you and the surface could keep your soul out of reach from the Creator's arms. When life overtakes you, to the point your body will quiver in fear, be but still and know He is the Savoir, for His hands are at hand, and will uplift your soul upon His shoulders as He does with any lost lamb. Upon those very shoulders, listen to His soft whisper of love, that says, "Be not afraid, for I will repair you, abundantly with increase, is there anything to far from Me? Any depth too deep for My reach? I am not the one who says and does not. Where is thy faith?" There is no distance, nor any time that shall be too far off from the helping hands of Jesus Christ. Often you feel like time drags on, and your problem still awaits a solution. "Comfort will come in due time," saith the Lord, "wait for Me, yes, wait; I will come and heal you," Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. -Matthew 11:28 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. -Nahum 1:7 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans8:39 |
The Passion of Paradise
Oh beloved, do not be afraid, do you not know that the Kingdom of our God is within you? So often you long to see the paradise reigning in the heavens above, not realizing that that same Gloryland is expounding within your very essence; excelling your being as a light which shall triumph the darkest parts of this world. Consider the evil ways of your heart, and give it unto God, and forsake every way that is contrary to the Word of Truth. For when you give your heart over to God, Who is the Creator of that paradise within you, you are simply denying your flesh and commencing your new life in Christ Jesus. The outward world is to be denied, therefore your inner man can perceive this glorious Kingdom, and then shall you understand that this paradise is of peace, and of joy in the Holy Ghost. If you prepare your heart to be a willing abode for Him to come in, He will bestow unto you His consolation. The very essence of His glory, and His beauty, are within: unseen by the natural eye. Your heart is easy to be an open gate for the pleasures of the world. When these temptations come and knock, you often open the door and let something unholy enter. Oh beloved, make ready your heart for the Bridegroom, for He alone can protect your gate and establish the finest lock. If you love Him, you will keep His words, and keep your heart open for Him and Him alone. If you do so, He shall come and make His home within you. Become inwardly united and connected to Christ, and the passion of His paradise shall be yours, and your eternal. "The kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21 "For the kingdom of God is peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." Romans 14:17 "If any man love me, he will keep my words...and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." John 14:23 |
